Title: Sequential Games

Abstract: Alternating-move win/lose games are sequential games where the players select moves alternately, and the winner is determined by the sequence of moves that was selected. 
A strategy is a book that tells a player which move to select in all possible decision points.
A strategy of a player is winning if it guarantees that the player wins, whatever the other player plays.
In general alternating-move games, the outcome is not necessarily the identity of the winner, but a vector of real numbers 
(with dimension equal to the set of players; the outcome depends on the sequence of moves),
which is interpreted as an amount that each player receives.
In simultaneous-move games, in every round players select their moves simultaneously.
I will describe these classes of games, discuss the existence of winning strategies, 
define the concept of equilibrium, which is the analog of the concept of winning strategies in non-win/lose games,
and discuss the existence of equilibria. We will start with the seminal papers of Gale and Stuart (1953) and Blackwell (1969), 
continue with the groundbreaking results of Martin (1975, 1998), and conclude with recent results.

No prior knowledge of game theory will be assumed.
