Title: Combinatorial covers, Abelian duality and propagation of resonance
Abstract
In the first part of the talk, we survey certain properties of complex hyperplane arrangement complements.
In the second part, we discuss how these properties can be generalized to several other
classes of topological spaces for which a combinatorial construction (so-called ’combinatorial cover’) can be provided. We define this construction and explore its relationships with other properties.
All new results in this talk come from two papers joint with G. Denham and A. Suciu.
