Title: Higher representation theory
Abstract: In representation theory, we study actions of groups on objects like sets, vector spaces, and manifolds. In this talk we will introduce 'higher' representation theory, which studies actions of groups on mathematical objects like categories and categories of categories. We will then explain how various features of usual representation theory extend to this setting.
