Arithmetic progressions in primes

We describe the Green - Tao theorem on arithmetic progressions in primes, and discuss a new variation on the proof due to Conlon, Fox and Zhao. The proof involves an application of the Selberg sieve combined with Szemeredi's theorem on arithmetic progression in sets of positive density and a transference theorem.
