Title:Introduction to hypercontractivity 
Abstract: Hypercontractivity concerns the contraction of certain operators from L^p(X) to L^q(X). 
In the talk I will explain the role of hypercontractivity in analysis of Boolean functions. 
Time permitting, I will also discuss a fascinating parallel of it in representation theory due to Guralnick--Larsen--Tiep.
