Title: Free loops, transfers, and the evaluation map
Abstract: Inspired by a question from chromatic homotopy theory, Reeh, Schlank, and I have shown that certain evaluation map natural transformations on the category of spaces extend to the category of spans of spaces in which the wrong way map is a finite cover. In this talk I will describe the construction of these extensions and some of their algebraic implications.
