The Number Theory and Algebraic Geometry seminar continues tomorrow, on Monday, Feb. 19 at 2:30 pm in Ross 70. Andrey Levin will talk about homology of linear groups.

"The Homology Groups of the Linear groups. A survey of the recent achievements in constructions and examples."

The main strategy of proving the Zagier Conjecture is the application of the Borel Theorem. As the last involve the homology of the general linear groups, the problems reduces to relevant description of these homology/ After more that 20 years some progress in this direction has achieved. I shall explane some parts of this success.
