Title: Moduli Spaces of Morphisms Into Algebraic Groups
Abstract: This will be a continuation of the colloquium talk, the emphasis being on the actual construction of the moduli spaces. We will show that, for any geometrically reduced scheme X of finite type over a field, and any wound unipotent group U, there exists a suitable moduli space Mor(X, U). The key is to show that the set of morphisms X ---> U over the separable closure of the base field is bounded in a suitable sense.
