Title: A short p-adic proof of the existence of Cohen-Macaulay algebras

Abstract: 
The second lecture will explain how perfectoid methods allow to answer these central questions. Instead of following the initial path (due to the speaker), we will take advantage of later simplifications (due to B. Bhatt, L. Ma, O. Gabber and the speaker) and present what now appears to be the shortest path.
