Title: O-minimality, local o-minimality and similar relatives
Abstract: In this talk, the speaker will talk about the topological properties
of sets definable in several relatives of o-minimal structures.
First, basic properties of o-minimal structures are introduced for
non-specialists, and introductions of weakly o-minimal structures and
definably complete structures will follow.
The main topic of this talk is a summary of the topological properties
of sets definable in locally o-minimal structures.
They are discussed separately in the definably complete case and the
non-definably complete case.
In the definably complete case, a variety of decompositions into
`good-shaped' definable sets are discussed in detail.
Monotonicity of definable functions is mainly discussed in the
non-definable complete case.
The speaker will talk about d-minimal structures and structures having
tame open cores if time permits.
