Title: Monadic NIP and distality
Abstract: A theory is monadically NIP if it remains NIP under arbitrary unary expansions. In the first part, we will discuss some characterizations of monadic NIP and its connection to hereditary classes. In the second part, we will discuss some interactions of monadic NIP with distality. This is joint work with Chris Laskowski.
