I will discuss what are symmetric alpha stable processes, their integral (stochastic) representations and a connection due to Rosinski between ergodic theoretic properties of this class of processes and non-singular ergodic theory. The talk will follow Hardin, Rosinski and Rosinski-Samorodnitski.
