Title: Profinite Rigidity
Abstract: The motivic question of the talk is "to what extent does the set of finite quotients of a group determine the group?" We will formulate the question in modern and exact terms using profinite groups, then we will see examples and non-examples. We will survey a bunch of results and state open questions at the end.
