Congratulation to Dr. Ori Parzanchevski who will recieve the 2019 Levitzki Prize of the Israel Mathematical Union (with Dr. Doron Puder of the Tel-Aviv University). The prize is awarded every two years to a young Israeli mathematician for research in Algebra or related areas.
This prize has been established by the Levitzki family in memory of Jacob and Charlotte Levitzki.
Professor Jacob Levitzki was for many years a professor at the Hebrew University.
He is considered the founder of research in Algebra in Israel.
