In November 27, the famous Bourbaki Seminar at the Institut Henri Poincaré in Paris held a three talks seminar all about works of researchers from our department.

Congratulation to Prof. Ruth Lawrence-Naimark who is a 2021 recipient of the Professor Amnon Pazy memorial award.
The Pazy Memorial award was established by the BSF, to be given annually to an outstanding and original new project in the mathematics and computer science competition.
Congratulation to Dr. Shai Evra who is a 2021 recipient of an Azrieli Early-Career Faculty Fellowship.
Congratulation to Dr. Or Hershkovits who is a 2021 recipient of an Allon Scholarship.
The Allon Scholarship of the Council for Higher Education in Israel supports outstanding young scientists and its purpose is to enable Israeli universities to hire the scholars full-time.
David Kazhdan will be one of the Plenary Speakers at the next International Congress of Mathematics (ICM), which will take place in St. Petersburg, Russia, from 6 to 14 July, 2022.
The ICM is the most influential conference in pure and applied mathematics. Many prestigious awards as the Fields Medals are awarded during the congress's opening ceremony. An invitation to give a plenary lecture to the thousands of ICM participants is considered a special distinction in the mathematical community.
The Einstein Institute of Mathematics will host an undergraduate workshop, bringing together outstanding (2nd and 3rd year) undergraduate students from Israel.

The recipient of the Haim Nessyahu Prize for outstanding PhD is Dr. Lior Yanovski, currently at the Max-Planck Institute in Bonn. Dr. Yanovski's dissertation was submitted to the Hebrew University, and included original and creative results in chromatic homotopy theory and infinity categories. His advisor was Prof. Tomer Schlank.

המפגשים יתקיימו בימי רביעי ב 17:30-18:30 בחדר הסגל בבנין מנצסטר (ובחצר הסמוכה). בתוכנית סנדוויצ'ים תה ועוגיות.
