Congratulations to Prof. Tamar Ziegler for winning the Rothschild Prize

Congratulations to Prof. Tamar Ziegler for winning the Rothschild Prize in recognition of outstanding scientific achievements, breakthroughs or discoveries in mathematics.

The Rothschild Prize is awarded yearly by Yad Hanadiv, reconizing outstanding contibutions in several fields of knowledge

The award ceremony and symposium are planned for September 2024 at the National Library.  .

Congratulations to Prof. Tomer Schlank for receiving the Erdős prize

Congratulations to Prof. Tomer Schlank for receiving the Erdős prize awarded by the Israel Mathematical Union. The prize committee has praised Professor Schlank's contributions to the development of algebraic topology and chromatic homotopy theory.

The prize was established by Paul Erdős in 1977 in honor of his parents, and is awarded annually to Israeli mathematicians under 40.

Congratulations to Dr. Noam Lifschitz for receiving the Nessyahu prize

Congratulations to Dr. Noam Lifschitz for receiving the Nessyahu prize for the best Israeli Ph.D. thesis, awarded by the Israeli Mathematical Union.

The Haim Nessyahu Prize in Mathematics is awarded annually as part of a national contest of excellent Ph.D. dissertations in sciences. The prize was established by the Nessyahu family to commemorate the memory of their son, Haim Nessyahu, a prominent member of the junior academic staff at Tel Aviv University.
