We are proud to host the Ostrowski Prize Ceremony on January 25th, 2018. The Ostrowski Prize is a major award given every odd year for outstanding mathematical achievement judged by an international jury from the universities of Basel, Jerusalem, Waterloo and the academies of Denmark and the Netherlands.

We are pleased and happy that The Hebrew University ranks 11th in the field of Mathematics in the latest Shanghai Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2017, and is the leading department in Asia according to this ranking.
