Gordon Lectures

The Mark Gordon Memorial Lectures, established in 2022, consists of three lectures on an advanced mathematical topic given as part of The Mark Gordon Distinguished Visiting Professorship in Mathematics.

Mark Gordon was leader in the financial services industry and a prominent member of the Greater New York Jewish community. A staunch advocate for the Hebrew University and actively involved in American Friends of the Hebrew University's mission, Mark served on the national Board and Executive Committee, and supported many of the university's initiatives.
Following his passing away at 2018, his family commemorated his memory by establishing the Mark Gordon Distinguished Visiting Professorship and the The Gordon Memorial Lectures Series, allowing the Einstein Institute to benefit from a one month visit of world-class mathematicians.
